Air bag impact with a child seat can increase the risk of injury to the occupant.

When a child seat is installed on the passenger seat (size M), the deployment of the air bag may impact the child seat. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
