Damaged brake jumper wires can result in power brake assist failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

These vehicles were remedied under NHTSA Recall 25V390 with a brake jumper wire harness that was assembled without protective tape. A wiring harness that is missing protective tape can allow the wires to become damaged.

Park outside Service brakes

An electrical short in the brake pressure switch can overheat the circuit and increase the risk of a fire while driving or parked.

The brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch and cause a short circuit.

What to do: Park away from your house, garage or anything that could catch fire, until it is repaired.
